Introducing SCHWTH & Morten S
Marie here. Still trying to regain the proper everyday feeling of monday after the AC/DC blast friday...but I really looked forward to present to you the 7. version of Difference by Schweppenhäuser/Thomsen & Morten Søndergaard. The duo Schweppenhäuser/Thomsen (shortened SCHWTH) consists of Jakob Schweppenhäuser and Emil Thomsen who are both members of Marybell Katastrophy, so here is a family version. They have collaborated with the poet Morten Søndergaard who has written several Marybell Katastrophy lyrics – e.g. The Difference – and now translated his own text into Danish... In 2007, SCHWTH & Søndergaard released the album Hjertets abe sparker sig fri ("The Heart's Monkey Kicks Itself Free") and launched the fantastic interactive website. I know it sounds stupid to say that I really love this version, as it is so close to me, but I just have to say that before I knew Jakob, Emil and Morten I saw their ocean music called Superpositionsprincippet performed at a beach in the setting sun, and I most say that until this day it is still on my top 5 of best concerts ever - and since then I admired their way of making something foreign sound so familiar!
